After playing both Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age several times, I must say, Bioware continues to impress me as one of the greatest developers out there. I give both games a 9 out of 10 and would recommend both as a buy for sure.

I enjoyed Mass Effect 2 most on the Xbox 360.

I found that Dragon Age was more fun on the PC.

Halo Legends

Okay so after watching a trailer of Halo Legends I am pretty excited for the episode this Saturday. I dig Anime and I dig Halo so hopefully this stuff as good as it looks. If it’s half as good as the Animatrix, I’ll be happy. The picture above is taken from the CGI episode. There is something I love about Halo cutscenes.. the epic ass kicking that Spartans deal out is usually the main reason. This series should have some epic moments.

I can’t confirm this but here is a schedule I found for Halo legends.

Halo Waypoint Awards are Cool October 30, 2009

I just recently checked out the Halo Waypoint preview on my Xbox 360.. It is pretty sweet. Scanned all my achievements and gave me access to some new avatar gear under “Awards”. I got a 343 Guilty Spark Prop and some clothing. Coolest of all, I got a RECON helmet for the Vidmaster: Endure achievement. I’m not going to wear it though.. as it will totally mask my identity and that is the point of an avatar.

Waypoint opens up some new multi-game ranking system called Milestones. I am currently at milestone 35 in my Halo career. This is a combined score from Halo 3, Halo ODST and Halo Wars. I also got ODST armor for the Good Samaritan achievement in ODST.

Halo 3: Achievements, New TV, Level 40 June 23, 2009

So recently.. I have been getting back into Halo 3 on LIVE. I started playing again with some friends. That and I just got a new 40 inch 1080p Sharp Aquos. I’ve really been enjoying some of the new gametypes like MLG and Team SWAT.

The game is a lot different from Halo 1 but I am getting a lot better. Switching to bumper jumper and having a larger TV helped a lot. I have been playing for a few weeks now and reached level 40 in Lone Wolf.

Xbox 360 @ E3: Impressions June 3, 2009

I just watched the IGN coverage of Microsoft’s opening day. I think they had an overall good kick off to the event. The “Natal” seemed alright.. but what a weird name! As far as games go, I think Metal Gear could be big for Xbox. I don’t really think the franchise is that great myself. Halo 3: ODST has my attention though. I hope the pistol is similar to Halo 1. That could make for a very sick game. I think the Lionhead Studios presentation was complete bullshit. They are a bunch of hype makers and Fable is a good example of how they don’t follow through and deliver what they say they will. I am thinking about getting a new TV (1080p) and Netflix now for the instant play full HD movies! Last.fm looks like fun too. Hopefully you can stream and play games at the same time!

New Saitek Eclipse III Keyboard Review April 3, 2009

Just got this new keyboard from Amazon for roughly $80. When taking it out of the box, I thought this keyboard was very large. I am upgrading from the Saitek Eclipse II. I’ve now had the Eclipse I (which was terrible), the Eclipse II (which was awesome) and now the Eclipse III which so far seems to surpass it’s siblings. This is the best looking keyboard I’ve ever owned hands down. I am sticking with blue color lighting setting even though I got quite a few other options now.

Looks: 9/10 “Hard to imagine a cooler looking keyboard”
Feel:8/10 “A little wide for my desk”
Utility: 8/10 “Great macro keys”
Value: 6/10 “$80″
