Got a Nook Color recently off Craigslist and rooted it to run CM7, Phiremod and a few other ROMs. I bought it mainly as a place to read my college books in PDF form but might as well mess around and learn something at the same time.

Been playing through Dead Space 2 on my PC. Pretty rad cutscenes. Not sure about the weapons in the game though. They seem a little too abstract. Only useful in some situations. A pain to manage ammo for all of them as well.
Some honorable mentions to other games I’ve played recently:
Magicka (humor + rpg = greatness)
Crackdown 2 and Army of Two with Taylor. Co-op helps me get through the winter.
Stay away from Dragon Age 2 (at least the demo). They oversimplified the game so much that it is boring. Another great gaming company sells out to the masses. I feel like the golden age of gaming has passed.

Star Craft II has been out for a while now and after beating the campaign I’ve been working my way through the bronze league on 2v2 and 1v1. Hopefully I can get out of the bronze league someday. Find me on Battle.Net

I haven’t been on Xbox Live much lately… finished up on the Halo Reach beta and then did some soul searching for a game on PC. Settled with Borderlands and it has been highly entertaining to play with one of my old friends from Florida.
I like the new take on Diablo with guns. Fast paced action and RPG elements keeps the adrenaline going. I started off with a Hunter, rerolled a Soldier, rerolled a Berserker and then finally stuck with a Siren. The Siren is the best class in Borderlands. My friend and I went through the game as two Sirens. One Elemental and one Controller. Tore through the game easily with this class combo. Going to try out some of the DLC available since I already beat the game and I’m on the second playthrough.

After playing both Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age several times, I must say, Bioware continues to impress me as one of the greatest developers out there. I give both games a 9 out of 10 and would recommend both as a buy for sure.
I enjoyed Mass Effect 2 most on the Xbox 360.
I found that Dragon Age was more fun on the PC.

Halo Legends Tomorrow! November 6, 2009

Okay so after watching a trailer of Halo Legends I am pretty excited for the episode this Saturday. I dig Anime and I dig Halo so hopefully this stuff as good as it looks. If it’s half as good as the Animatrix, I’ll be happy. The picture above is taken from the CGI episode. There is something I love about Halo cutscenes.. the epic ass kicking that Spartans deal out is usually the main reason. This series should have some epic moments.
I can’t confirm this but here is a schedule I found for Halo legends.
